Knickers & Gin is an independent art and design brand created by artist Christopher Balder.
All of our designs start with original artwork. We also love vintage and antique illustrations, and mixing it all together. The results are always unique to Knickers & Gin.
Our goal is simple: make beautiful things, make original things, and make them useful things.
The process
Our designs start the old-fashioned way, with ideas, sketchbooks, and snacks.
Painting, drawing, mono print, gel print, stencil, and collage all become part of the process.
From there, selected pieces are translated into textiles and accessories using high-quality digital printing that captures all the details and textures of the original artwork.
